Programs We Offer
The Teddy Bear Early Learning Center offers programs for children ranging from ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
Our devoted staff is passionate about the development of your child. All classroom leaders have their Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate, BA, or Associates degree in Early Childhood. We require our staff to stay up to date on current trainings and childhood practice. All staff are first aid certified and most are Medical Administration Training (MAT) certified. All staff undergo criminal background checks and fingerprint clearing before working at our center to ensure the safety of your child.
Your child's health and safety is very important to us. If you have a child with special needs, we have various therapists from local agencies who regularly visit to cater to your child. To ensure proper nutrional care, we provide meals that are tailored to your growing child. Substitutions are available upon request if your child has special dietary requirements. In addition to performing daily health checks of all children we offer a secure facility requiring verified identification.
Affordable child care is a priority at TBELC. We will work with the New York State Department of Social Services to get you the funding you need for your child. We also offer corporate and referral discounts to eligible families.
Nursery Ages 6 weeks to 18 months
A safe and fun environment for your infant!
The nursery is a place where your child can feel comforted while interacting with teachers and other infants. The classroom is child friendly with a foam floor and lots of space for tummy time and exploration. You will also notice a veriety of swings, bouncers, and gyms for your infant to enjoy.
Toddlers Ages 18 months to 36 months
We love to call these children the Waddlers!
The children in the toddler room are encouraged to explore as they gain their independence. This room is extra large to have plenty of room to run and play on a soft padded floor. The room is also bright and colorful and stations for each child to enjoy.
Preschool I 3 years old
Where strong foundations are built!
Our three year old room offers a variety of educational experiences including reading, writing, and language activities. Here children will be encourages to visit all the learning centers and explore their surroundings by using hand-on learning tools. Children never get bored and have an outlet to be creative during daily arts and crafts, as well as time in dramatic play.
Preschool II Ages 4 & 5
Equipping your child with tools for the future!
Our 4 & 5 year old room offers an integrated approach to learning with a literary focus. Here your child will develop all the skills in core subjects to prepare them for Kindergarten and the world around them. Daily lessons include reading and writing workshops, math and science explorations, and language instruction (including Spanish).
